Don’t blame the lobbyists…
That being said, the public is growing weary over the behind-closed-doors aspect of governing. Public discourse is the life-blood of a healthy democracy. When the public believes lawmakers are led by lobbyists, (or the oft-used ‘special interests’ ) faith in government plummets. I believe that’s why approval ratings for all levels of government are at record lows right now.
NRA Misfires with Their Unrelenting Trump Love
The NRA disappoints membership with their unrelenting Trump Love. Now, I’m not going to quit the organization, but I am going to sit on my wallet this year. No political giving through their organization. I’ll support pro-2nd Amendment and pro 1st Amendment politicians who are not stained with the association to Donald Trump.
My Electoral College Predictions
Donald Trump’s rallies have been impressive. Hillary Clinton can’t draw flies. Clinton is limping to the finish line, and there appears to be a Trump surge. So, where are we headed? I detail my predictions, here:
The Wheelercast: Episode #19
Gwyn is in Iowa, and no, she is not being held by terrorists. However, in this week’s episode we do discuss the state of legislative relations, as well as a new Catfishing bill. I sat down with Wisconsin State Senator Leah Vukmir (R-Wauwatosa) to discuss legislative developments, her role at ALEC and Governor Scott Walker’s presidential campaign. Later, Fraley is joined by RightWisconsin’s Collin Roth for the weekly Rundown.
Who did it better?
Trump? Or Y2J? Or Prince Nassem Hamed? (Suggestion: Play the three videos, above, simultaneously with the audio down, and then decide!)
Presidential Debate Aftermath
I had the pleasure of appearing on Fox 6 WITI and CBS 58 WDJT Milwaukee Tuesday to give my analysis of the first presidential debate. Check them out below. I talk about who I think won, missed opportunities and Trump’s visit today to Waukesha. Fox 6 Milwaukee: Who won? What impact will it have on…
Conservatives Must Lead the Way With Transportation Fix
It’s time to get serious about the Wisconsin road, bridge and highway crisis, and it’s time for conservatives to lead the way toward resolving it. Conservatives are guided by facts, not emotion. Here are the facts: 42 percent of Wisconsin’s major roads are in mediocre to poor condition In a report card for 2015, the…
