It’s time to get serious about the Wisconsin road, bridge and highway crisis, and it’s time for conservatives to lead the way toward resolving it. Conservatives are guided by facts, not emotion. Here are the facts: 42 percent of Wisconsin’s major roads are in mediocre to poor condition In a report card for 2015, the…

Donald Trump’s rise has lead to a dive in GOP voter enthusiasm here, which not only takes Wisconsin off the electoral map for Trump in November, but it jeopardizes the re-election of GOP Senator Ron Johnson and gives Democrats increased hope for gains in the state assembly and state senate. My analysis:
This whole notion that somehow #NeverTrump dies if it doesn’t result in a different candidate at the convention is ridiculous. Several media outlets have approached me over the last couple weeks to talk about this, one even calling me one of the “fiercest Trump critics in the state.” (I’ll take that as a compliment.)

So, with this safeguard finally in place, voters here should now be able to register electronically using a valid driver’s license (or free state ID).
Stories like this bug me to no end. Over a five-year period that included the near-elimination of collective bargaining in Wisconsin’s public schools, the teacher workforce in metro Milwaukee is smaller, less experienced and still largely white, according to a new report. The metro region also lost 700 teachers during that time, but that trend…
